Aluka Boat Co Ltd is a family business owned by Blair & Nicole Stapleton, with a love of fishing, the ocean and a lifelong passion for boats we set out to design & manufacture unique boats to meet our customers expectations. Growing up on the water we are both at one with the ocean hence our motto ‘Home is where the anchor drops’. Blair has extensive boating experience, and we understand the importance of what people need in a boat for the NZ conditions. We pride ourselves on professionalism and communication as we want to ensure our customers experience satisfaction throughout the build process, our goal and vision is to deliver your dream pleasure craft.

‘Aluka Boat Co Ltd was established as I always wanted to design a boat with a point of difference, after owning 13 boats I knew what I did & didn’t want in a boat. Performance, quality and strength was the design brief when I engaged with naval architect Noah Thompson. I wanted a boat with a forward rake windscreen for less glare and more room in the wheel house, the boat needed to be a fishing & family friendly boat that was tough, fast, safe and well built. As a product of the collaboration Noah came up with a unique design and the 823 Walk around was born. Noah & I achieved the objective in terms of building the ideal boat, taking it to the next stage of turning it into a brand and building boats for other people is an exciting next step’.
Lloyds Structural Standards
Aluka Boat Co Ltd strive to apply modern style and technology to the robust aluminum hull structure which are designed with Lloyds SSC for more substantial vessel construction. Our style is a fusion of modern Euro boat lines blended with traditional Kiwi offshore fishing boat layouts. Our focus is on safety, comfort, performance, and functionality.
Construction
Certified welders weld our boats to ensure our 10 year hull warranty. We only use DNV-certified marine-grade plates and extrusions for the construction process.
Designed by Naval Architects
Our hulls are designed by Qualified Naval Architects. Noah Thompson Design uses the latest up-to-date naval architecture software and construction techniques. As a result, Aluka Boat Co can offer customers a semi-customisation service with the aid of Noah Thompson Design.
